Square Mile Cup

The Johnnie Walker Blue Label Square Mile Cup is a pairs golf tournament exclusively for Square Mile Golf Club members and partners. The tournament offers members a unique opportunity to stake their claim as the finest golf pairing in the City of London.

In the inaugural competition in September 2009, four qualifying events took place at exceptional golf courses across the South East. The final was held on 7 October 2009 on the spectacular Twenty Ten course at the Celtic Manor Resort - home of the 2010 Ryder Cup.

There was no entry fee to take part but participants were asked to make a £50 donation to charity. Proceeds went to the nominated tournament charity, WWF.

Each team consisted of two people playing in a 2-ball Texas Scramble format. Three teams (six people) from each qualifying event won some wonderful prizes courtesy of Square Mile Golf Club partners and also qualified for The Final at Celtic Manor Resort.
